As an avid watcher of adult film features, one thing that has always made me curious is what does it actually take (besides a reliable boner) to make a movie? It’s good to have someone who can turn-on a camera, edit ,wrangle some women eager enough to nail the generally ugly fellows, and of course write a story. Ok, kidding on the last one. Behind-the-scenes are nothing new to XXX DVDs, you see all the big companies using them in their supplementary materials, but rarely are they put out into a feature-length package like Brookland Bros. Behind The XXX.
The Brookland Brothers are responsible for numerous erotic productions, including: Call To Booty, Wet Jazmin, Tool Time Tina, Tammy’s Class and the Sarah Palin porn satire, Palin Erection 2008. Most of the said films are contained on this DVD that’s called a “documentary” on the DVD cover, but is more so just an assemblage of outtakes from these features. This is still interesting stuff. There are a few funny bits that that take place on camera. One segment in particular, shows an actor, who’s a tad shorter than his female partner and his issues reaching the proper orifice. It doesn’t take long for a crew member to place a wooden step –stool under the aspiring Peter North’s feet. The Palin Erection 2008, also contains a few memorable moments.
The Women in Behind the XXX are all fairly attractive. For me, in particular, Jazmin caught my eye; a lovely mixed beauty who sports some tremendous, and natural looking cans. You may have guessed, she is the star of Wet Jazmin. Most of the footage on this DVD (if not all) is soft-core, unfortunately. So, if you’re expecting some “oopsie anal” , pink-eye from man-mess or pre-screw douching antics, you might be disappointed. I do think the producers made it a softer for the wider audience it may receive via MVD Visual. Soft-core or hardcore, I still found Behind The XXX to be enjoyable enough. The folks in these features also come across as just regular people, who may be the night stock boy at Wal-Mart and just kinda living a little dream.
I have yet to see any of Brookland Brother’s offerings, but with viewing Behind The XXX, I may have to see some of these dirty little films (hopefully uncensored) in their entirety.
