"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure,” Screen Icon Marilyn Monroe confessed in one of her more memorable quotes. “I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” While this quote would appear to justify bad behavior, it does shed light on the complexity of human beings. It seems that a person’s positives are frequently met with negatives that are either acknowledged and brought to the fore, or ignored.
