Picking up 3 years after the last film, THE SUBMISSION OF EMMA MARX: BOUNDARIES finds the character of "Emma Marx"(Penny Pax) settled comfortably within her alternative BDSM lifestyle with Mr. William Frederick.  When we last saw them, they entered into a part time agreement, however now we find, that things have gone full time, as Emma is now William Frederick's full-time "Sub". The two now living together in a house that they purchased together, still play by strict rules.  Rules which Frederick sets.  Emma, must always be in submission to him, even when he is not there, must also wear what he chooses for her, as well as keep her body looking just right.  In addition to, she must accept and complete all challenges given to her, or else be punished. It even goes as far as her having to ask for his permission to sleep with him.  The rules are definitely out of the ordinary, however, it is the lifestyle that they live, and it is a lifestyle that Emma is comfortable with - that is until one of Frederick's challenges approaches another one of Emma's personal boundaries.  Like last time with anal sex, Frederick proposes something that Emma would never do.  And what is it this time?  A threesome.  It is a topic of discussion, which overlaps into her "regular" life, as her sister "Nadia"(Riley Reid), and her husband, now of 3 years, "Ray"(Van Wylde), have ventured to try BDSM, however, Nadia is turned off by bringing someone else into the picture, when Ray suggests it.  She just won't have it. And it is Nadia's rejection that has Emma thinking long and hard about her situation at hand.  Frederick gets Emma to open up about a little crush that she has on the new guy at the office, "Shane Covington"(Logan Pierce), with whom, he eventually proposes they engage in a three-way with.  Penny is initially appalled by the idea, as she does not wish to stray away from the exclusive relationship she shares with Frederick, however, Frederick's intimidation factor is enough to make the reluctant Penny, send out a few "feelers" to Shane in the form of notes at work.  Small notes that are rather intimate in nature.  She tells him that she has masturbated at the thought of him, and follows that up with asking him if he has ever thought about fucking her.  She even slips him a pair of panties at the encouragement of Frederick.  It is just another thing which takes her further out of her comfort zone.  However, little did she know that her relationship with Frederick would be later, further tested, when someone else enters the picture.  William Frederick's first "Sub" - "Audrina Whitman"(Sara Luvv),  It is an arrival that makes Emma extremely jealous, as it would appear that the relationship between she and Frederick slowly begins to unravel.  Why is it that Frederick is spending time with an ex-associate?  And why is it that he mysteriously leaves the house late at night, and mornings.  All of these questions are answered as Emma Marx continues her journey into the alternative and unpredictable world of BDSM lifestyles. As Emma and Frederick making adjustments to their exclusive agreement, it all concludes with boundaries being crossed at long last.

From NEW SENSATIONS, comes this Jacky St. James penned film, which is Directed by Eddie Powell.  THE FRIEND ZONE, tells the story of 2 best friends, "Kevin Anderson"(Anthony Rosano) and "Gina French", who live together, as a matter of fact, they do almost everything together.  However their relationship is strictly platonic in the eyes of Gina.  However, it is not the same for Kevin, who longs for more of a relationship with her.  Unfortunately, as her best friend, he has had to endure seeing Gina go through a number of different relationships that have left her unhappy.  However, soon, things are shaken up after a nasty breakup with  her long time boyfriend, sends Gina's sister "Wendy"(Lexi Bloom) their way, as she moves in.  Now with the 3 of them ever so unlucky in love, Gina proposes that they all try something.  Online dating.  From there, they agree to create online dating profiles on the paid dating site "Dream Match"(although Kevin and Wendy do so reluctantly.).  Although the girls decide to keep their profiles alive for awhile, with a little success, Kevin quickly deletes his soon after he begins.  But eventually, he comes up with a bright idea - pose as his office coworker, the attractive "Cameron"(Giovanni Francesco).  And so he does.  By creating a new profile, in addition to uploading Cameron's photo, Kevin soon becomes an online persona under the name, "surlysteve".  And as it turns, out, "surlysteve" is a hit, as "surlysteve" not only attracts the attention of women, but men as well.  The response to his online persona is quite surprising, but none more surprising as when the profile catches the attention of the one person he least expected - that's right, Gina.  Not exactly sure about what to do, Kevin, under the guise of "surlysteve" continues on in an online relationship with his friend, as the two talk for hours via messages.  It is by this, that Gina feels that they get to know each other quite well, which brings their relationship to the point where she wants to meet.  In a panic, Kevin is beside himself, however soon, it only gets worse when Wendy brings home a guy that she has just met....who just so happens to be Cameron! With confusion abound, Kevin has no other alternative to drop the act, and tell the truth.  It's a moment that appears to spell the end of Kevin and Gina's longtime friendship.  However, it is the time away that makes the two come to realize that love has always been right there for them all along.  With eachother.

In THE SUBMISSION OF EMMA MAX, "Emma Marx"(Penny Pax) is a college student, who has never found love, or even had a steady relationship to speak of, despite seemingly everyone else around her, finding something or someone, who make them happy.  This includes her roommate and sister, "Nadia"(Riley Reid), who has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend, "Ray"(Van Wylde).  No, it would seem that Emma doesn't have time for relationships(although she longs for love), as she keeps herself busy with such things as school assignments.  And it is such an assignment that we find her working on, when the story truly begins.  The assignment is a Masters thesis on equality in the workplace.  It is such a project for which she has interviewed a number of sucessful business people, but it is not until one February morning, as Emma recalls(via the film's narration), that things take a rather interesting turn, when she chooses to interview one William P. Fredrick.  Her reason for wanting to interview Fredrick, is for the fact, that as an owner of a successful company, she is startled to find that out of all of his employees, 97% of them are female.  Hoping to grab some insight, she begins to quiz Fredrick.  However, she is is quick to take note of his arrogance, and abundance of self confidence.  They are two qualities that might very well turn most away, but for Emma, it only intrigues her. Although Emma comes away from the meeting with possibly more questions than she had going in, the two part ways on a very admirable note.   From then on, Emma just cannot stop thinking about the mysteriously intriguing man, whom she has met.  However nothing his heard from him until one day, a telegram arrives at her door.  It's from Fredrick, who gives Emma specific instruction not to contact him until after she's graduated - and should she follow the rules, at that time, she will be given special information, regarding an opportunity that he promises will be unique.  The proposal puts Emma even for on edge, as she often pleasures herself at the thought of the man, and his mysterious "opportunity".  What can it, be?  she doesn't know.  But what she does know, is that graduation, which is 4 months away, could not come any sooner.  Fast forward in time a little, and the day finally arrives.  And on that day, she receives an envelope, mailed to her by Fredrick, which contains, both a set of instructions, as well as some paperwork, in which she is to sign.  The instructions tell her specifically what to wear, and what time she should arrive at the address which he has also provided.  And the paperwork?  A non-disclosure agreement, to be signed between the two. She quickly discovers that the location in question is Fredrick's lavish mansion, and that the paperwork is an agreement to engage in a BDSM relationship with him.  It is something that is scary at first thought to Emma, yet she eventually agrees to it, as well as its stipulations, as she slowly puts her guard down and dives into the experience.  It is an experience that would soon change her life.  After giving into temptation, she is hooked. But that's not before making some alterations in the relationship of her own.  She wants a job at Fredrick's company as well as a set rate salary. Fredrick agrees to her desire, on the condition that the two be able to extend their BDSM practices into the workplace.  So during the week, Fredrick has her during office hours, while on the weekend, she's all his at his place.  It's a relationship that seems to work out - Fredrick sets the rules and boundaries, and Emma follows them.  It takes some getting used to on her part, but soon Emma falls into the routine. In reality, she enjoys being dominated by the man, who she refers to as "Mr.Fredrick" immensely.  So much so, that she opens herself up to things she said she's never do - such as anal sex.  As Fredrick continues to push Emma Marx to her limits of both pleasure and pain, Nadia becomes suspicious of her sister's secret sexual activities, which nearly cause Emma to abandon them altogether. But as she attempts to stray from him, she finds that the temptation in which Fredrick ignites within her is just far too strong, and that her interpretation of love and happiness simply differs from the norm.

With this film, Writer/Director Jakodema and Digital Playground explore the subject of "Catfishing".  It is when someone assumes a false identity online, to lead someone on, sometimes with a hidden agenda in mind.

In CATFISHED, that is exactly what happens to Jesse.  In the film, Jesse, is a young women, whom has been divorced from her ex-husband Eric(Mr. Pete), for 3 years.  Despite hoping to find love again, things just aren't working out between she and the guy, which she is occasionally dating, Keiran(Daniel Hunter).  Because of this, her friend, "Kayden"(Eva Lovia), has often suggested that she try her hand at an online dating profile.  An idea, that until now, she has strongly opposed.  However, she eventually gives in, as she creates a profile on the dating website, "Your Ass, or Mine?".  It turns out that Jesse, is a big hit among the men on the site, as she receives a number of responses after the first night.  After sorting through all of the potential hopefuls, Jesse is able to narrow it down to one guy.  A man named Johnny.  Johnny has a lot of qualities that Jesse likes; he's a High School Literature teacher, he's active, and enthusiastic.  But perhaps the thing that the two have most in common, is that they both have had their heart broken in some way(Jesse with her divorce, and Johnny with the death of his wife).  It seems as though they take comfort in each other.  From then on, Jesse and Johnny continue a relationship, as the two continuously keep in touch via text, and by talking on the phone.  For the two, it would seem that they are a perfect match, as this continues on for about a year.  That is when Jesse grows a little restless in her desire to meet the "man of her dreams".  They arrange meetings only to have Johnny cancel at the last minute, as he always seems to have the perfect excuse.  Of course, this brings Jesse down, which is why she is very excited when Johnny agrees to let Jesse come to him as the two finally meet.  However, it is when they do finally meet, that a, once again heartbroken Jesse, comes to realize that not all is always what it seems in the often anonymous world on online dating.

For my next review, I thought that i'd visit this 2014 film from Digital Playground, called RIDE OR DIE, which stars Mia Malkova. To describe the film in a sentence, RIDE OR DIE, is essentially Digital Playground's answer to THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise.

In the film, Mia Malkova is "Fiona Getz", a young woman who has already be through a lot in life. She grew up having a famous stock car racer for a father, one who was killed on the track. Later, she also ended up in the arms of an abusive, and corrupt boyfriend, who is now serving time in prison, because Fiona turned him in. The film finds her currently working a comfortable desk job at the Police department. A job that she actually prefers. However, things get a lot more interesting for her, when she is called upon to go undercover in the world of illegal street racing. Due to her experience with racing, her higher ups see no one better for the task. The department is now covering a case involving a gang of street racers, who are working side by side with the cartel. The gang has been hijacking, intelligent, military grade computer chips, powerful enough to control military drones, and putting them into the hands of the cartel, and cartel boss, "Toni". With the illegal operation ongoing, the Police need to get someone inside their world. At first, Fiona, who has spent some time distancing herself from racing, is reluctant to go in, but eventually realizes that she has no other choice, but to gear up and go full throttle. She dives right in by infiltrating the world of a guy named Vincent Smith, a wealthy entrepreneur, who has a liking of street racing. Vincent throws parties, and hosts big money races at his establishment, and it is during such night that Fiona poses as an eager street racer. However she does not go unnoticed, She is almost immediately recognized on account of her father, Simon, who, as it turns out, is someone that almost everyone there idolizes - Vincent included. Because of this, they of course, allow Fiona into their circle. Fiona then takes to the streets for her first race, and surprisingly, she comes out on top, thus winning big money. This impresses Vince, who works to get closer to the new racer. They do eventually become close, however, it is when Vincent's rebellious sister, Lisa(Riley Reid) is apprehended by the cops, that Fiona's cover is blown. It is also at that time revealed that Lisa has ties to the head of the cartel. Because of this, the Police ask for Vincent's help, when it comes to cracking down on the gang's operation. First, however, Vincent is upset, as he feels as though he has been betrayed by his girl, Fiona. But of course, he eventually agrees to go deep to avoid punishment of his own. From there, the stage is set for one more race, and seeing as members of the gang have entered, Fiona and Vincent work together in hopes of putting an end to them, before more microchips can be delivered.
